글로벌 컴퓨팅 전문 기업 ASUS의 한국 지사인 에이수스 코리아(지사장 강인석, 이하 ‘에이수스’)는 ROG Maximus XIII Apex 메인보드로 Super PI 32M 세계 기록을 갱신했다고 밝혔다.
ROG Maximus XIII Apex 메인보드는 11세대 인텔 i9-11900KF로 Super PI 32M를 3분 40초 만에 달성해 세계 기록을 갱신했다. Super PI 단일 스레드 벤치마크는 25년 역사를 가진 CPU와 메모리의 연산속도를 측정하는 벤치마크 유틸로 7년 전에 ROG Maximus V Formula 메인보드로 Super PI 32M를 5분 이내 진입을 했었다. 이후 4분 가까이 달성한 적이 있었지만, 4분의 벽을 깬 것은 이번이 처음이다. Super PI 32M 세계 기록 외에도 단기간에 10개의 오버클럭 기록을 달성했으며, 이 중 7개는 세계 최고 수준의 기록이다.
ROG Maximus XIII Apex 메인보드는 인텔 Z590 칩셋을 기반으로 10세대와 11세대 인텔 코어 프로세서를 사용할 수 있다. 90A 등급의 18개의 파워 스테이지로 전력 공급을 강화했으며, 11세대 인텔 코어 프로세서에 대한 오버클러킹 기능을 추가했다. 또한 CPU와 냉각을 프로파일링해 최적의 구성을 예측하는 AI 오버클러킹으로 더욱 빠르고 스마트하게 오버클럭을 진행할 수 있다.
